POM To Relocate And Upgrade A State-Of-The-Art Telcom, Security And Audio/Video System For A Leading Global Digital Entertainment Company
New York, NY, October 3: Peace of Mind Technologies, LLC (POM), a leading security, audio/video and low voltage integration company based in NYC, has been awarded RealNetworks’ contract to relocate their New York office’s technology solution. RealNetworks’ regional workplace will relocate its entire facility from 379 Broadway to a lower part of Manhattan. Additionally, POM will upgrade and expand RealNetworks’existing telcom, security and audio video solution to a state-of-the-art, fully comprehensive technology system.
Says Aram Kavalgian, Director of Business Development for Peace of Mind Technologies, “POM is relocating all of New York RealNetworks’ existing technology solution during their immense move. The unique challenge for POM is to relocate their entire operation in a manner and timeframe by which it minimizes any disruption from their normal business activities. POM’s experienced team of designers, programmers and installers have developed a process that will reduce any operational interruption. This procedure includes carefully cataloging and transporting their entire set of equipment, all the content housed in it and the programming designed for it.
Once in the new facility, POM will rebuild RealNetworks’ technology solution as it was previously designed and originally used on a daily basis. Additionally, POM will expand RealNetworks’ current technology system to an upgraded access control and CCTV solution, enabling the New York regional office to be autonomous from their headquarters in Seattle, WA.
At the same time the New York regional office becomes more self-sufficient, POM’s upgraded technology solution will enable the security director located Seattle, the flexibility to remotely monitor the New York office. Additionally, the system will enable RealNetworks’ Seattle-based security director to retrieve stored video from that location. All of RealNetworks’ content will be cataloged by location, date and time for easy retrieval for when the regional office or headquarters needs it.
